Mr Ak­im­au serves as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Foundation Trust, where he leads the foot and ankle service. He earned his PhD in Medical Science from Osaka University Medical School in 2004, followed by FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015 and a CCT in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery from the GMC in 2016. He combines rigorous academic training with hands-on expertise to treat both complex trauma cases and chronic foot and ankle conditions.
