Mr Kristo Papa is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of complex heart, lung and chest conditions.

Based in London, Mr Papa has extensive experience across leading hospitals in the UK and Ireland and currently works as a cardiovascular specialist at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. His clinical practice covers a broad range of adult cardiothoracic procedures, including complex cardiac surgery, heart and lung transplantation, aortic surgery and heart valve surgery.

Mr Papa has undertaken medical and surgical training across several internationally recognised institutions. He gained his medical degree from the University of L’Aquila in Italy, completed cardiothoracic surgical training at the University of Verona and later pursued further specialist education in cardiology, medicine and surgical leadership.

His academic background also includes postgraduate study at Harvard Medical School, the University of Oxford and the University of Geneva.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr Papa has contributed to a number of scientific publications and international conferences in the fields of cardiac surgery, valve disease and complex cardiothoracic care.
