Dr Anthony Hammond is a Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He trained at the University of Edinburgh, Bristol, Bath and London—including the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatology, Bart’s and the Royal Postgraduate Medical School—and holds a Doctorate in the Immunology of systemic lupus erythematosus. Dr Hammond combines his rheumatology expertise with advanced interventional pain techniques, offering targeted management of disc-related back pain, sciatica and complex autoimmune conditions. As a senior tutor for the International Spinal Pain and Intervention Society (IPSIS) and an active medico-legal expert witness, he brings a wealth of experience to multidisciplinary care.
